I am happy because I finally found a way of describing my mother, interestingly, while looking at a large painting my sister did a long time ago which looks a lot like you’re looking through a combination of viewpoints from different camera lenses. today I found a tangible analogy for my mother’s magnetism and mystery, she is like a kaleidoscope: any way you turn her you’re bound to see something absolutely interesting, full of reflected light and color. And again, any way you turn her you can see that even while she rotates into a new thought or expression you are dumbfounded by the three dimensionality of the work in progress, all the processes of formation in a mere instant of expression. you can see the moments of it all taking shape like the seconds of light cascading through the parts in the kaleidoscope, like sparks taking shape from her mere energy from just standing there mid expression and from her every thought’s rapid movements.
