does anyone else say – close the lights – anytime you wanna ask someone if they can turn off the lights…

kinda like close the door, but I guess from habit of… saying close the… I end up saying that in the context of lights as well, and actually I like it better – it’s more illustrative of the action that im demonstrating to be done: that the lights suddenly are closed off…
