My nephew tonight asked : why do people have to blink .. why do we blink ?

I said because our eyes are wet they are like fish .. and out of water they cannot breathe so if our eyelids weren’t there they would dry… and not be able to breathe… we blink like fish jump in and out of water

It’s funny a momentary simple question like this takes me back in time to the age where i was so inquisitive and everything was so new and vivid and immensely interesting… it’s so refreshing to remember ..we were all like this once … anytime you peel some layers back, especially in the quest to aid someone else… you suddenly find parts of yourself..

I’m so blessed to be around children… that with their perspectives and insights … make me also reach out at the world, new and wholesome and all over again…
