I used to prioritize sleep over writing down ideas if I had some come to me when i was too tired to write
Id think well if it’s really important or special it will naturally pop back in my thoughts again
And yes sometimes that is the case naturally
But. Nowadays I knowi May forget or I’ll get distracted by something else . i don’t want to risk losing ideas or my thoughts on certain things. Because I’ve done so before and the pain of knowing I’ll not get them back is more than a small amount of lost sleep.
(Even though sleep is what fuels your mind and thereby your original ideas ironically)
